Halloween 2013

 Halloween is always a blast!  You get to dress up, get away with tricks, and end up with a bag full of candy!! 

 Clay wanted to be Percy Jackson from Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief Book.






Here is a picture of all the kids at our wards Trunk or Treat night.  It was raining that night so we moved all the fun indoors and the kids got to go around to different classrooms to trick of treat!

This is a Halloween Wreath that was made during a craft day with my friends.

 Hayden decided on being a ZOMBIE!!  A Bucket Head Zombie from the Game app Plants vs. Zombies to be exact!

 Justin is the MIGHTY THOR!

Can't pass the fall season without carving up a few pumpkins! Clay made a monster and Hayden made a double faced pumpkin man!

"Pumpkins for Horses?"

 I bet you didn't know, but horses love pumpkins!!  Hayden wanted a job to do and it was no small task for him to lift and carry all those pumpkins to give to the horses. But he did it all by himself and had a great time doing it!  He came back inside and said,

"Whew, that was A LOT of Pumpkins! Good thing I had that cart, but it did go a little fast on the hill."

He is lucky he didn't have a run away cart on his hands!

Hayden is such a great worker, and doesn't quit until the job is all done.

Trick or Treat!

FALL Season!

 Fall is the best season, especially in Illinois with so many trees changing colors and the many different pumpkins patches and fun farms to go to!  We recently visited Krueger Farm stand that is really close to our house, and then to Stade's Farm and enjoyed buying pumpkins and eating their famous Apple Cider Donuts!!

 Oh, and swam in their corn pool!!!

 Love those Apple Cider, sugar coated, so delicious, oh so yummmy donuts!!!

 We already carved two big pumpkins at home so we bought small ones to take home and paint.

 Justin took his painting seriously and made everything  into a piece of art...including his face!!
